Shraddha Handigi hails from Navalgund, Karnataka and holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Tontadarya College of Engineering, Gadag. Her inaugural book, "Life - A World", has been recognized with the prestigious Best Pensmith Award 2024, Lift Magazine Award 2025, and The Rise Insight Literary Award 2025 in the Self-Help category. Additionally, her debut book in Kannada, "Vihara", has garnered acclaim.
Having fostered a passion for writing from a young age, Shraddha draws strength and inspiration from her family. Her grandfather, Dr. Sangamesh Handigi, is a celebrated Kannada author with over 100 published works and numerous accolades. Likewise, her father, Dr. Siddhalingesh Handigi, earned a doctorate for his first Kannada book. Her mother, Suma Handigi, serves as a pillar of support.
Shraddha's English poems have gained traction on social media, earning her recognition as "One of the top 1000 Poets in India" by S7 Poetry. Her Kannada verses have also been featured in various newspapers. In addition to her literary pursuits, Shraddha has interests in singing, music composition, dancing, photography, and video editing.
As the founder of "Banashri Prakashana," a publishing house exclusively dedicated to the Kannada language, Shraddha has made significant contributions to the literary community. She is also a respected Book Blogger, having reviewed over 70 books and collaborated with more than 45 authors. Known as a "Young Author and Popular Book Reviewer," Shraddha Handigi's multifaceted talents and dedication to literature continue to make a mark in the industry.
